Freedom Needs Guardrails

Apex is being built as a more open, dangerous, and player-driven sandbox, but the goal is stories and conflict — not abuse.

Account Policy

  • One main account per real player is the intended standard.
  • Multiple people in the same household may play.
  • Alt abuse, election manipulation, spying abuse, reward farming, or bypassing server limits may be acted on by staff.

Faction PvP

  • Rebel and Imperial players are treated as overt in the open world.
  • Protected major NPC city areas are intended to remain safer.
  • Outside protected areas, faction conflict is part of the server.
  • Harassment, exploit abuse, spawn camping, medical-center camping, and targeted abuse are not welcome.

City Play

  • City zoning is open/off by design.
  • Mayors are expected to lead, not lock everyone out.
  • City rivalry, politics, and faction identity are welcome.
  • Do not abuse bugs or mechanics to grief city systems.

Fair Play

  • No exploiting bugs or dupes.
  • No automation or bot armies unless explicitly allowed by staff for testing.
  • No harassment, threats, or real-world abuse.

Naming

  • Numbers and military-style names are allowed.
  • Do not use naming freedom for impersonation, slurs, harassment, or staff confusion.
  • Staff may rename names that abuse the system.

Unofficial Fan Server

  • SWG Apex is not official.
  • Do not ask for client/TRE files.
  • Players must legally own the original Star Wars Galaxies files.
